MarkWell & Co. is a custom fabrication studio. One shop floor, every machine the work needs, and the patience to put them together on a single piece.
A short walkthrough of what makes the work possible. Every piece that leaves the studio passes through some combination of these.
Wood, acrylic, glass, leather, fabric. The workhorse — most projects pass through it at some stage, whether for a dimensional cut or for surface engraving.
Stainless steel, aluminum, brass, titanium. Direct engraving on bare metal — nameplates, dedication text, hardware, and bronze components for monument and plaque work.
Hard surfaces, coated metals, glass. The precision tool — fine text, compliance markings, micro-graphics, and intricate detail at the small end of the scale.
Deep-carved glass, stone, and bottle engraving. Used where the mark has to live in the material — outdoor monuments, dedication stones, custom bottle runs.
Precision cutting and dimensional work in wood, MDF, signboard, and acrylic. Dimensional letters, channel letter blanks, recessed insets for combined-substrate plaques.
Photographic image transfer onto ChromaLuxe coated aluminum. The substrate for every photo-based piece the studio produces, from family portraits to donor walls.
Branded apparel runs. Opening kits, anniversary lots, trade-show inventory — the apparel side that runs alongside the signage work.
Second press for specialty work, contrast colors, and small custom runs that need to overlap with a production job already on the floor.
Finishing, mounting, assembly, packaging. The fastener, the level, the framing square, the call to the install team. Most of what makes the work feel finished happens here.
If a piece doesn't pass these six lines, we don't send it. They're the brand promise broken into working rules.
Material choice and finish quality have to outlast the trends around them. ChromaLuxe over print. Bronze over plated. Sand-carved over routed.
Memorial work, dedication work, portraits — the piece is for the person, the place, or the moment. Not for the portfolio.
Every project is a conversation first. The studio works best when the client is in the room, on the call, in the email thread.
The work should let the message lead. We design the substrate to step back when the photograph or the dedication is the point.
Owensboro is the studio. The work shows up in the rest of the country, but the floor it leaves from is one set of hands in one place.
If polish has to be added at the end to make a piece look right, the piece wasn't right. The craft has to be in the substrate from the beginning.
The single sentence the studio measures the work against. The whole philosophy compresses to this.
Process video, machine close-ups, finished work in context. Filmed on the shop floor in Owensboro.
